Moorpark Symphony Orchestra
Established in 1990, the orchestra has grown from a few interested enthusiasts to over 75 dedicated musicians. Its membership consists of professional musicians and community members.

On Sunday June 21st, Father’s Day, The Moorpark Symphony Orchestra joined the worldwide celebration of music on National Music Day. The MSO’s “Window Serenade Quartet” performed popular favorites from a socially acceptable distance at Access TLC (located in Moorpark, California) and Belmont Village (Thousand Oaks ,California). We, The Moorpark Symphony Orchestra, wished to celebrate music, our seniors and Fathers ( Happy Father’s Day!) within our community and around the world.

We have a beautiful new logo, designed by Board Member and Head of Marketing, Andy Siditsky.
We received many positive comments about the gorgeous concert poster from both our musicians, and folks in the community expressing how much the graphic of the Apricot (iconic crop of Moorpark, CA) sprouting from a G-Clef, represents an instant and natural connection with the city and Ventura County. We listened! And have now adopted a version of this graphic as our official branded logo.
Our new logo represents all musicians in the orchestra, our positive energy and enthusiasm, our strong spirit as an organization, and especially our friendship through the arts.
You can see it here in the newsletter, on our website, and across all social media platforms.

*Countrywide Stay-at-Home and Social Distancing practices are wreaking havoc on the arts, and MSO is not immune. We need your help and support more than ever. If we can’t bring you the music you love, we can at least give you an apricot logo to brighten your wardrobe.
