Established in 1990, MSO is a community orchestra that has grown from a few interested enthusiasts to nearly 90 dedicated musicians. Its membership consists of talented volunteer musicians including professional musicians and community members.

As a non-profit, artistic organization, the mission of the Moorpark Symphony Orchestra is to provide high quality, affordable musical performances that delight our audiences. Our objective is to inspire, entertain, and serve our community one note at a time.

It is with great pleasure that we can announce Charles "Chuck" Fernandez has been named Music Director and Conductor of the Moorpark Symphony Orchestra
Charles Fernandez is an Emmy and Annie nominated, award winning composer, orchestrator, conductor, teacher and bassoonist.
